The design was conceived as a case study for sustainable landscape architecture practice, attempting to recreate the original habitats of Mykonos island. Native flowering plants have been established so well, they have created an autonomous, dynamic, evolving ecosystem. The garden has matured showing a great degree of self-sufficiency realized through the minimum watering demands and a remarkable high regeneration capacity.
